China Leaves is a small, family-run tea studio in Los Angeles — a few blocks from one of the largest Chinese-tea markets outside of mainland China. We curate the freshest harvests from China and share them, cup by cup, with our community.

Mountain garden
to our door
We work directly with small farms across Yunnan, Fujian, Anxi, Wuyi, and Hangzhou. Twice a year our founder flies back to taste the new harvest, walk the gardens, and reserve our share of the season's best lots.

Hand-picked at the
local market
We also partner with trusted distributors right here in LA Chinatown — long-standing family suppliers who let us inspect, smell, and brew samples before any batch makes it onto our shelves. Only the freshest, highest-quality lots come home with us.

China Leaves was born from a belief as old as tea itself: that the best medicine grows in the garden. For thousands of years, Chinese healers have turned to leaves, blossoms, and roots to restore balance — calming the mind, strengthening the body, nourishing the spirit.
We carry that tradition forward. Every tea in our collection is selected for both flavor and well-being — a careful balance of taste and healing properties, sourced from mountain gardens where the air is clean and the soil is rich.
